Chelsea Dub is an artist from Indiana with a BFA in Painting and Animation from Ball State University. She enjoys working with various media, including sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking, digital photography, and computer graphics. Being autistic and having learned to draw before she could speak, art was—and continues to be—both a mode of escapism and expression for her.
Along with being a neurodiversity proponent, she is a vegan animal rights advocate, and her art often explores the interconnections between issues such as ableism and speciesism. Through visual media, she hopes to effectively communicate these ideas and challenge society's marginalization of communities, including other animal species. Her art has been published in the Wolf Warriors anthologies (1-3), The Art of Compassion: Creative Activism for Animals book, Mic, Elephant Journal, and National Geographic, featured in The Art of Autism and The Art of Compassion Project, and exhibited in art fairs and galleries, including the Canon Tunnel in Washington, D.C. She lives in Noblesville with her family, including two adopted cats, Whiskie and Anja.
